Nature of Services

The services offered by Aligned Living Bowen Therapy are complementary therapies. Bowen therapy is a gentle, hands-on modality designed to promote relaxation, health and well-being. Theta Healing is a meditation technique that uses a spiritual, energy alignment philosophy to facilitate personal transformation. Our services are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. We do not diagnose, treat, or claim to cure any medical or psychological conditions. Our services are intended to complement, not replace, the care of registered medical professionals.

As an unregistered health practitioner in New South Wales, I am required by law to comply with the NSW Code of Conduct for Unregistered Health Practitioners. A copy of this Code and information on how to lodge a complaint with the Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC) is available here and is displayed in my clinic.

Intuitive Insights: Please note that while I hold nationally recognised qualifications in Bowen Therapy, Theta Healing is a non-secular, spiritual modality and is a Practitioner Certified qualification in Australia. Insights provided during Theta Healing sessions are intuitive in nature. During Theta Healing sessions, I may share intuitive impressions or 'readings.' These are provided for your personal reflection and spiritual exploration only. They are not factual predictions or medical assessments. You retain full autonomy and responsibility for any life decisions or actions taken following a session.

While we strive to provide accurate, up-to-date information and services, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of information, products or services associated with Aligned Living Bowen Therapy. Individual results may vary.

No Therapeutic relationship

Accessing this website or its content does not create a therapist-client relationship. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or emergency, please contact emergency services immediately by dialling 000 or seek immediate medical attention.

Client Responsibility and Consent

Clients must provide accurate and complete health information during their initial consultation and update us on any changes. You acknowledge that you have been fully informed about the nature of the therapies and have given your consent to proceed. If you have any concerns or questions during a session, you must communicate them immediately.

You acknowledge that Bowen Therapy may result in physical sensations or temporary 'healing responses' as the body adjusts, and Theta Healing may bring up deep-seated emotions. You agree to communicate any discomfort, physical or emotional, immediately during or after a session.

Appointment and Cancellation Policy

Appointments can be booked online, by phone, or in person. We require 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than the required notice, or failure to attend a scheduled appointment (no-show), may incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the session cost. We understand emergencies happen, please contact us to discuss.

Privacy and Confidentiality

Your privacy is important to us. All information you provide, including personal and health details, will be kept strictly confidential in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles. We will not disclose your information to third parties without your explicit consent, except where required by law. Information is collected and stored solely for the purpose of providing treatment. Collected information is stored on a secure digital system (Zanda) which complies with Australian standards for health practitioners. You can access their privacy policy here.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

While our services aim to support your well-being, we cannot guarantee specific results. Any information or guidance provided is for educational and self-empowerment purposes only. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, including that services will be provided with due care and skill. Subject to those laws, you agree that Aligned Living Bowen Therapy and its practitioners will not be held liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, incidental, special or punitive loss or damage arising from the use of our services or website.
